We're out of school - for the 3rd day in a row - and trying to entertain ourselves the best we can.
Day 1 - was spent with Daddy home from work too. We had a family TV and chill out day. No pictures - we really took it EASY!!!
Day 2 - Finding more to do INSIDE the house!
I spent a lot of the day making an apron with the pattern and materials my mom bought for me this weekend while my parents were visiting:
The Front:
and . . . The Back (kind of hard to see with the pattern showing through - but you get the idea):
They also dropped off a big freezer for us (for the garage - ours on the refridgerator in the kitchen was taken over by all the MILK from Augie when he was nursing and we're assuming the same for Anthony - we really need the extra room in the freezer)
. . . and a really awesome chair that matches the decor in our playroom . . .
I LOVE THIS CHAIR!!! It is just F-U-N!!!
Augie worked out with the 2 lb medicine balls!
And then tried to relax (we're learning to SIT in our chair - NO STANDING OR FLIPPING OFF THE SIDE ALLOWED!)
Day 3 - we're getting CABIN FEVER - that's the reason for our title!
Augie is restless - hence the shirt I put on him this morning (it's a 2T - eek)
and wants to be held and carried everywhere - lots of attention needed - but hard to resist sometimes:
but he's still playing in between.
I'm on the computer (first time in these 3 days actually) doing a little catching up on pictures, blogging, etc.
Next I plan on doing some more crafts -
Making a new badge holder for school with some beads I have.
Finishing a gift for a friend's baby that's on the way - she's 1 of the 7 teachers at my school that's pregnant!
Painting Anthony's letters for his wall so that his name is there and ready to greet him when he arrizes.
And a number of cleaning tasks are on the list as well. If there's no school tomorrow, I might actually go stir crazy myself - it makes it hard for me to be productive . . .
If I do it all today, there won't be anything left for tomorrow!
So, until tomorrow . . . PRAYERS FOR ALL TO STAY WARM AND COZY AND SAFE!!!
