Momba hasn't worn make-up for a few days either. I can't lie - it's been pretty nice to not have to worry about how I look. I just leave on the casual, warm clothes and go with it!!!
Gus is home today too, and he didn't change out of his PJs until it was time to go outside and check out all the fluff that was left over night - about 6" of that fluff! We could't see the street. Our yard extended straight into our neighbors - with no sign of the street in between at all.
Our own house was covered with a blanket as well - and you can't see the edge of the front landscape, the sidewalk . . . basically anything on the ground that isn't a bush was covered.
And when we walked across the street to take a picture of the house, we found the front steps!!!
And on to the back yard:
Momba took a picture of the rose covered in snow:
Only in Texas - our plants think it's Spring, bloom, and then get frozen and snowed on!!!
Daddy took a picture of the top of the fence to show how much accumulation there is:
Then we, of course, took lots of fun family pictures as well:
Augie had ALL of his warm weather gear on - a little hard to move, but workable!
He and Daddy were READY TO GO!!!
Or so we thought, until Gus thought that Augie could walk in 6" of snow . . . and instead fell straight forward on his face in the snow. Augie wasn't real happy about that - to say the least!
But, he got up quick, we brushed him off, and he was ready to trudge the fluff - with a little assistance that is.
Momba's turn for a picture with Big Aug -
And last, but not least, we gave in and let Augie make a snow angel before going back inside the house! (Thanks for being such a good sport little man!)
I'VE NEVER SEEN A BETTER LOOKING, CUTER SNOW ANGEL!!!
And a few MINUTES after our outdoor fun started, the boots were back on the mat, and the StaatsPac was back in the house and ready to take it easy!!!
