Early Christmas

This year has been REALLY busy! We have fit so much into this year - sometimes I don't know how we fit it all in.
Christmas: Well, we opened our family gifts on the 23rd - because Gus had to work and we had to travel on Christmas Eve, and we weren't going to take them all to Temple just to bring them back. Plus some of them were too big to do that anyway.
Highlights of our family gift opening:

Best Gift EVER!!!

Gifts from Grandma Raine! The cross is gorgeous! We love the books - They are PERFECT!!!

From Poppi and Mimi!
The knife tradition begins/continues! Great find Poppi!!!

Grandma Raine got me a VERY CUTE ear warmer and scarf set - I wore it on Christmas Eve! The Moose ornaments too . . . Great finds . . . they look great on the tree!
Poppi and Mimi got me a VERY NICE bird feeder that will help bring the birds to the birdhouse I received for my bday! We also received a cast iron skillet with a corn bread recipe book - we'll be trying one out this week!!! Gus received a shirt and tie which he wore on Christmas Day for mass, and of course - his traditional knife!
It matched Augie's - VERY AWESOME!!!
(You can tell who the camera man is - because there aren't very many pictures of him:(.)

Gus received a chiminea from myself and Mom Staats.

And I received a BEAUTIFUL picture frame - Gus had it made special - with a picture of us during our wedding song/first dance, and he had his mom do the caligraphy and write out the words to the song on parchment paper. WHAT AN AMAZING HUSBAND I HAVE!!!

WHAT AN AMAZING FAMILY WE HAVE!!!

MERRY EARLY CHRISTMAS!!!
