Snow DAZE!

Well - we call them snow days, but really they're ICE DAYS! It's hard to get anywhere right now because of all the ice. The driving isn't safe. The trying to walk outside at all isn't safe. And the windshield has been in the single digits and even the negative single digits.

We're out of school - for the 3rd day in a row - and trying to entertain ourselves the best we can.

Day 1 - was spent with Daddy home from work too. We had a family TV and chill out day. No pictures - we really took it EASY!!!

Day 2 - Finding more to do INSIDE the house!

I spent a lot of the day making an apron with the pattern and materials my mom bought for me this weekend while my parents were visiting:
The Front:

and . . . The Back (kind of hard to see with the pattern showing through - but you get the idea):

They also dropped off a big freezer for us (for the garage - ours on the refridgerator in the kitchen was taken over by all the MILK from Augie when he was nursing and we're assuming the same for Anthony - we really need the extra room in the freezer)
. . . and a really awesome chair that matches the decor in our playroom . . .
I LOVE THIS CHAIR!!! It is just F-U-N!!!

Augie worked out with the 2 lb medicine balls!

And then tried to relax (we're learning to SIT in our chair - NO STANDING OR FLIPPING OFF THE SIDE ALLOWED!)

Day 3 - we're getting CABIN FEVER - that's the reason for our title!

Augie is restless - hence the shirt I put on him this morning (it's a 2T - eek)

and wants to be held and carried everywhere - lots of attention needed - but hard to resist sometimes:

but he's still playing in between.
I'm on the computer (first time in these 3 days actually) doing a little catching up on pictures, blogging, etc.

Next I plan on doing some more crafts -
Making a new badge holder for school with some beads I have.
Finishing a gift for a friend's baby that's on the way - she's 1 of the 7 teachers at my school that's pregnant!
Painting Anthony's letters for his wall so that his name is there and ready to greet him when he arrizes.
And a number of cleaning tasks are on the list as well. If there's no school tomorrow, I might actually go stir crazy myself - it makes it hard for me to be productive . . .
If I do it all today, there won't be anything left for tomorrow!

So, until tomorrow . . . PRAYERS FOR ALL TO STAY WARM AND COZY AND SAFE!!!

Oh Brother!!!!

This month marked the beginning of my third trimester.
Oh Brother!
And I am definitely feeling it! I am nesting myself into exhaustion. Not to mention, I still need to make sure that I have everything ready for my sub to finish out the school year for me.
Big Oh Brother!
With keeping up with both of my boys, and all of these fun side effects of pregnancy, I am getting to that point of being very TIRED!
Big, Big, Big, Oh Brother!

BUT IT'S ALL QUITE WONDERFUL AT THE SAME TIME!!!

We have enjoyed snow . . .

New gifts . . . (A Tent From Pops and Gamma Lopez)

(A Play House From Mom and Dad)
(A New John Deere Gator From Tia Marci and Uncle John)

A New Baby Cousin . . . Welcome Sienna Lynn!

New Looks to Show Off . . .
(Harry Potter glasses - courtesy of Mrs.Rosa - Augie's Nanny)

And lots of learning . . . We now know where our brother is!

And we give him kisses (Augie's kisses are open-mouthed)!!!

It has been a GREAT, GREAT month!!! And we're really ready for "Brother!"

Tour De December

I am so behind on my blogging. I haven't put up any of my Christmas pictures, and we're almost through January.

Here's just a "quick" Tour De December:

NorthPark Santa Time

Santa's Village (in Richardson - A little cold, but FREE & So Much Fun!)

Learned that the Wrapping & Tissue Paper are FUN!!!

Augie's first time to fly . . . Off to Georgia to see Poppy and Mimi for Christmas . . .

Christmas Eve was eventful . . .

and wore us out really good. . .

And Christmas morning greeted us with full stockings under a full tree . . .

We unstuffed the stocking, found our Veggie Tales movies, and made a dash for it . . .who needs anything else, right?!

The day was wonderful,

spent with family,

and we were spoiled rotten!

The next day was windy and cold - but we were well prepared,

and we were blessed to have Poppy and Mimi take us to the "Imagine It Museum" - one of the coolest places we've ever been to - there were so many things to do! These are just a couple of the pictures (A couple of Mommy's Favorites) -

And it flew past VERY quickly! We took Poppy and Mimi to brunch before tour return flight, and said goodbye until next time:(

It was a beautiful December!!!

Quick Gig 'Em

NO, we still haven't put up Christmas pictures yet!
But we are making time for a quick WHOOP before tonight's game - and a quick picture before leaving for work this morning.
We will be having a family football night with 7-layer dip, maybe some wings too, and whatever other football game food pops into my head . . .
And we're all wearing our Fightin' Texas Aggie gear (and Gus is wearing a maroon dress shirt to work - we'll put a pic with ALL of us later).

For now:

GIG 'EM AGS!!!

December to Remember

Wow - not that every December isn't one to remember . . . but this one has been SOOOOOOOO busy that I'm sure I'll compare several to it in the future. Of course, it has been a wonderful busy . . . but not bloggable thus far. We will be home for these last couple of days of the year though - and will catch up very, very soon - lots of pictures and fun to share!!!!
